Enabling communities and forests to thrive together

Community Forests International is reimagining how to work with forests by working with forest entrepreneurs and forestry communities to reverse destruction, ensure forests thrive now, and restore the climate by enabling communities and forests to thrive together.

Following the complete brand redesign by Loop, CFI needed to launch their new visual brand quickly but weren’t quite ready for a full website redesign and development.

A vibrant, optimistic, and accessible experience for its users

With the new visual identity and brand guidelines document in hand, we set out to reenvision CFI’s website without creating an entirely new website. We call this a website re-styling rather than a full redesign and development. This unique challenge of not changing the admin setup and experience allowed us to really flex our design and font-end development muscles. For the first step in this process, we formulated the most accessible ways to implement new brand colours ensuring that the new styling is a pleasure to interact with for all of its visitors. Through careful review of existing website templates and content, we were able to devise on-brand applications of their new visual language.

Without a need for content migration, very minimal existing content adjustments, and just a touch of back-end development – CFI was able to launch their brand across all communication channels along with their website and start reaping the benefits of clearly communicating their band values through visual design.

Sasha is smart, compassionate, and extremely talented. Dara is the real deal on the back-end - she knows her stuff, she can easily translate technical details for a general audience, and she is a quick problem solver. Together, they made a great team! As a non-profit, we also appreciate that they put equity and inclusivity at the forefront of their work.
